After a 35-year career producing and directing the biggest events for NBC Sports, to include Super Bowls, World Series, Olympics and the Triple Crown, John has switched gears and has now helped develop a new show that is setting ratings records each Friday and Saturday night. Live PD on A&E has allowed John to use his knowledge in covering live events to mold a completely new form of documentary news programming. He utilizes 32 live cameras to cover law enforcement activities in 8 communities across the country in the show that is recognized as the most successful cable series to come along in years.

John has won 11 Emmy Awards, The Olympic Silver Rings, a Breeders’ Cup and an Eclipse Award for his work with NBC, and has most recently been nominated twice by the Director’s Guild for outstanding direction of a Reality Series.
